Class 1: Five basic design elements & principles of liberty scroll design
Class 2: Designing primary, secondary, and tertiary scroll elements, leaf shapes, multiple vine departures, bead and flower elements, bird and animal figures, symmetrical designs, and shading
Class 3: Flow and movement of Liberty scrolls, cutting scrolls, graver depth, shading to show levels of scroll elements, crosshatching principles, cutting interrupted lines, balls & flowers, and background treatments
Class 1
There are five basic design elements as you do Liberty Scroll. There are more, but these are the basics.
1. Countermovements
2. Piggybacks
3. Geometric designs or grids
4. Loops
5. Redirection or switchbacks
Class 2
Class 2 builds on the Class 1 to show more things you can do with Liberty Scroll. In this class Lee will show you how to incorporate the five design elements to make a very interesting and appealing design
Class 3
This Part 3 Class builds on the Parts 1 and 2 Classes to show how to cut a Liberty Scroll design.
